I bought two pepper trees and two olive trees in the fall, and they both look amazing this spring. I also bought roses over Easter and am really looking forward to seeing them grow. They sell great potting soil too—I’ll definitely be going back for more. The staff is really welcoming, patient, and can educate you if you don't know. I have been here 8 times and have had a great experience each time.

I went to Starkey's yesterday ahead of visiting the big box chain stores (i.e. Home Depot or Lowe's) and I'm so glad that I did!! They had everything I needed at half the price. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with answering my questions on plants, soil type, how much soil to get, and even assisting me with loading 9 bags of soil into my car. I noticed that they were attentive to all of their customer's needs taking time to answer questions or help others load soil. It was a great experience and I plan on being a returning customer for any and all of my future gardening needs. So glad I found them!

They have nearly everything to choose from. Today we were looking for vegetable starts. Successfully found all varieties we were looking for. And a unique flower I don't know the name of it yet, but such special coloring. AND, it was senior day (Wed) so received a 10% discount!

I love Starkey’s! They’re always so knowledgeable, helpful, and so friendly. They have such a gorgeous variety of indoor and outdoor plants. Every plant we’ve purchased from here is thriving, with no issues. My little family and I went there yesterday evening, and the man working was so nice! We realized we were still there as he was supposed to close shop, but he didn’t mind, he just continued to happily help us, and answer all of my indoor plant questions, particularly for the two I purchased. Support Starkey’s, they’re so great!

Love their wreaths - so many styles and two different sizes. Great quality. Gotta check them out. Came here last year just a few days before Christmas and got a beautiful tree. They really saved our Christmas.
